Welcome and Why

So you may be wondering why I have set up this new blog. The reason is simple (I think, maybe there is an easier way to do this, but I don't know how). I like having my blog private, but I don't like that my friends and family don't know when I have posted an update. I know that in your blogger dashboard the updates show up when you loginto your own blog and because mine is private you don't see my updates in your dashboard. So, here is a blog and I will post when I have an update. Then you will know when you need to go to my private blog to view our family. So, does this work for everyone? Will this make things easier? I hope so!

    I'm SOOO confused. Back when I was a little girl, we used to just pick up the phone, wait for the party line to clear, and call people and chat with them. Or, we used to write (not type) letters and then walk down to the mail box and MAIL them to people. This is all just so overwhelming (just kidding; it's a great idea).

    I still write letters and make phone calls! Didn't you get our Valentine's letter? And everytime I call you just turn me over to Mom. I don't get it.
